03 / The prize
The winning California studio takes the F45 Playoffs Belt back to their floor until the next Playoffs.
Individual glory goes to the Top Male and the Top Female. The studio belt is decided by ranking points across both divisions for North Beach, City Center, Transbay and Burlingame. Corte Madera, San Rafael and Novato compete individually without studio points or belt eligibility.
Top 10 male and Top 10 female from belt-eligible studios earn points for their studio. Invited-studio athletes remain in the individual rankings only.

Athletes must be 18 or older on event day. F45 members, invited guests and approved prospects may participate.
Confirmed athletes check in on arrival. Bring ID. Do not use the legacy reference PDF as the event waiver; event-specific waiver approval and signing instructions are still pending.
Up to 100 athletes are assigned to timed waves by the event team. Final wave timing remains subject to the venue-floor rehearsal.
Training shoes, water, towel, energy. Light snack post-event optional. Leave bags in the designated zone.
Walk-ins are only considered if approved by the event team and space is available.
Every athlete must attend the main briefing before any heat begins. Movement standards, judging rules and station flow are explained on the floor.

Athlete briefing
06 / Competition stations
Two competitors work simultaneously across 10 judged stations, with 45 seconds of work and 15 seconds of transition per station. Each rep counts, and movement standards are announced at the briefing.
Start strapped in with the display reset to zero and the damper set to 10. The meter total at 45 seconds is the score.
Stay light on the feet. Both feet must clear the bench every rep.
Chest touches the floor, arms lock out, knees pass 90 degrees, then the legs return straight for one rep.
Keep both feet together and fully clear the cones. Staggered takeoffs, landings and knocked cones do not count.
Begin prone with hands released. Use a two-foot box jump, return to the floor and release the hands to complete the rep.
Use an overhand grip. Move from a full dead hang to chin over bar and back without kipping or swinging.
Reach parallel or below, lock out fully overhead, then return the bar to the shoulders to complete the rep.
Keep feet off the floor. Each controlled ball touch to the floor counts; bounced touches do not.
The ball starts on the floor. The rep counts after it passes over the shoulder and lands behind the athlete.
Run first, then complete four two-foot lateral hops over the hurdle without knocking it over.

Non-members can participate only if invited or approved by the event team. The event is built around the F45 community first.
No. Completing the form alone does not create or complete a registration. You must successfully purchase the Playoffs 2026 product in Mindbody, then the event team verifies and approves your entry.
Mindbody checkout is a required part of registration. There is no pay-later option. Your registration is complete only after the Playoffs 2026 purchase succeeds.
Beginners can participate, but this is a serious competition. Athletes should be ready for intensity, real movement standards and a fast-paced floor.
Athletes are assigned to timed waves by the event team. The 100-athlete operating model remains subject to the venue-floor rehearsal; athletes do not choose their wave.
Top Male, Top Female and the eligible Winning Studio receive recognition. Corte Madera, San Rafael and Novato compete individually and do not earn studio points or qualify for the belt. Sponsor prizes will be announced closer to event day.
The operational plan is for up to 100 athletes, subject to the venue-floor rehearsal. The event team is manually managing 10 spots for each of Corte Madera, San Rafael and Novato through August 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. The website and Mindbody checkout do not enforce those numbers automatically; payment and final capacity are reviewed by the event team.
The full ranking will not be posted publicly. Official winners and top placements will be announced, including the Top 3 male and Top 3 female athletes recognized as Top 40+ Finishers. A post-event recognition may show each recognized finisher's 40+ placement and, when appropriate, overall placement.
Athletes who are 40 or older on August 29, 2026 remain in the main overall ranking by gender and also receive a parallel 40+ placement. This is recognition only, not a Masters division, and it has no separate prize, podium, qualification spot, belt, or extra points.
Walk-ins are not automatic. They require approval from the event team and only happen if space is available.
